The day after midterm US elections, two prominent public figures have been exiled from TrumpWorld. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has been fired (possibly for not helping Trump "drain the swamp" and prosecute certain Democrats for criminal behavior). CNN reporter Jim Acosta's White House press pass has been revoked (nominally for "manhandling" a female White House intern who was trying to take a microphone from him, but probably also for a history of obnoxious behavior). Transiting Ceres at 28 Libra is conjunct Trump's progressed Jupiter (law and publicity both) at 24 Libra. This very much echoes Ceres' associations with disappearances and removals. In most cases the Ceres transit will be within a single degree of orb, but it seems fair to speculate that Trump planned these moves in advance and waited until after the election to execute them. Transiting Jupiter at 29 Scorpio quincunx Acosta's progressed Pallas at 0 Taurus, and transiting Uranus at 29 Aries quincunx Acosta's progressed Jupiter at 0 Sagittarius fit the standard pattern for an ethics scandal. In my opinion, Acosta's behavior was "rude" and probably "inappropriate" but not "scandalous"... but the litmus test for "scandal" is very sensitive these days. And scandalous or not, Acosta is out of a job for his behavior. We've been exploring the possibility that transiting Pallas against a natal chart can correspond with events in which "the truth comes out" against a backdrop of obfuscation and/or false information. Transiting Pallas, then, at 1 Libra, is quincunx Acosta's progressed Pallas (and natal Mercury at the same degree), and sextile his progressed Jupiter (and natal/progressed Neptune). I suppose one could intrepret this as "truth being served" with regard to his history of highly disrespectful behavior in the White House press corps... or maybe the Pallas transit is coincidence.
